Queer Orphanage

|Queer Orphanage| An excerpt from Kasia’s old notebooks

I recall having this conversation, exactly as it had taken place—

// Me: You had said, “She’s the only one who has seen my cruel side and accepted me”, and “the only one I’m sure won’t leave me” etc.

Him: It’s ironic because I said that yet I believed you wouldn’t leave me either, especially after that dream you told me about how I was working and you had a bed in my room. //

I do remember that dream, too, as vivid as it had been the morning I first woke from it.
